Haiti Adoption Update

Well Dec 30, 2016 will mark 1 year of being entered in IBESR ( Haitian social services) to be matched with my Haitian daughter and this month marks 22 months of starting the adoption process from Haiti altogether…

Unfortunately, there is information floating around the internet that the orphanages and IBESR are in negotiations about some issues and they expect a 6-8 month halt in issuing matches for children. My agency has not yet confirmed this with me… But they usually send updates the very end of the month.

What does this mean for me? It means I wait and wait some more and then wait some more…

Although, this news is troubling for Haitian adoption in general.. It may end up being a good thing financially for me as I continue to press forth with my Ugandan adoption and move…

The next major fees for my Haitian adoption are not due until I actually get matched with my daughter, which means I still have more time to save and all the funds I have saved now can be used solely for Uganda.

I continue to seek God as he guides me through all this… Praying for his wisdom and guidance and that he provides all the resources and finances I need in his good and perfecting timing…
