Meet Farrah

Hi I am Farrah Lynn Albertie! I am the creative mind behind A lifestyle blog that helps single moms Live.Life. More Abundantly!

I focus on single/solo parenthood, adoption, including my current international adoption journey, foster care, homeschooling, preparing to move to Africa, working from home, living a location independent lifestyle and my current obsession with Marvel Comic movies!

I am a 12 year blogging veteran. This blog has now been merged with my old blog as of 2015.

Farrah is a single mother and solo parent to Benjamin and Darius, two very active young men she was blessed to adopt from foster care in 2007. She is currently in the international adoption process to bring home 2 daughters from 2 different countries. Additionally, Farrah is a child advocate that has served as a foster parent, foster parent recruiter, foster child and orphan advocate.  Ms. Albertie is a Certified P.R.I.D.E. Foster Care and Adoption Trainer and holds a Child Welfare Professional Certification (Provisional). Furthermore, she is extremely passionate about advocating for the destruction of Mental Illness and HIV/AIDS stigma.

Academically, Ms. Albertie is a 2003 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Recording Industry Management and also studied Mass Communications and Business Administration.Upon graduation, Ms. Albertie was instrumental in the launch of two independent record labels, acting as co-founder and Marketing Director. Ms. Albertie has also provided marketing and social media management services for several recording artists, most notably national recording artist Mali Music.

She went on to co-found and serve as Executive Director for a non profit humanitarian organization that caters to orphans in Haiti and Liberia. Furthermore, her experience in Graphic and Web Design spans more than 19 years, including serving 2 years as a contract Web Developer for the United States military, as well as the largest web design corporation in the United States. Today, Farrah serves as the Founder/President of F.L.A. Creative Group, LLC; a media and creative arts company that was founded in 2006.
